Independent Speech and Language Therapist in North East England
I am a registered Speech and Language Therapist with over 14 years’ experience working in the NHS, and I continue to practise within NHS services alongside my independent work. I am based in the North East of England.
My clinical background is rooted in autism diagnostic practice, and I have also worked with a wide range of communication needs across diverse settings, including the criminal justice system.
Since 2023 I have offered independent practice, providing high-quality, evidence-based assessments for children and young people.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).

These are comprehensive, objective evaluations using a wide range of standardised tools, clinical observation, and qualitative analysis. Reports are written to the standard required for tribunal proceedings and are regularly commissioned by SEN solicitor firms to support formal appeals.
General Speech and Language Assessments

For families or professionals seeking an up-to-date picture of a child’s communication needs, I also offer non-tribunal assessments. These focus on identifying a child’s current profile of strengths and difficulties without making recommendations about provision.
