We were booked in for our assessment all parent and school questionnaires were filled out and the turn around for his report after assessment was great. Clare has shown professionalism and empathy at all times, making reasonable adjustments and keeping us well-informed of the process through clear communication. In addition, I contacted Clare one year later during a Case Review, shared a change of circumstances and asked her to put in writing her professional advice. My little boy has severe anxiety and took to her really well. I was so happy with her work I had her do a second assessment for another one of my children. My daughter and I were preparing for a First Tier Tribunal because we disagreed with the Local Authority’s secondary school placement for my granddaughter. The SEN solicitor that we were using suggested that a SALT report would be useful and selected Clare as the therapist to make the assessment. This turned out to be an excellent choice. From the time Clare first made contact, all correspondence was answered promptly, and all planning was carried out efficiently, both with myself, my daughter and my granddaughter’s school. When the online interview took place Clare explained the whole process very thoroughly and put my daughter and granddaughter at ease. Clare was very patient during the assessment and went to great lengths to ensure that neither my daughter nor granddaughter became stressed. The report was produced very quickly and was detailed but easy for a lay person to understand. My daughter and I were appealing sections B, F and I of my granddaughter’s Working Document. Clare itemized the conclusions by Working Document section which was an enormous help. I believe this report was crucial in helping to persuade the Local Authority to concede on section I and to allocate my daughter’s chosen placement. It was also very helpful in cleaning up sections B and F. Clare made my Grandson feel relaxed all throughout the assessment, her soft calming voice really helped him relax as he's an anxious little boy, the whole process from start to finish was done quickly and the report was very thorough. Clare's report has been invaluable and helped us massively with school and other agencies. Most of all the report is going make a huge difference to securing an EHCP. Clare conducted an indepth SALT assessment with my 12 year old daughter (diagnosed ASD and ADHD). The whole experience was relaxed and stress free, Clare made us both very comfortable and was extremely friendly and accommodating. My daughter who usually struggles with professionals remained calm and happy throughout. The report itself and the advice given went above and beyond what we had initially hoped for. It was not only incredibly accurate but highly detailed and the practical advice/techniques and recommendations given are exactly what our child needs and will benefit from.
